Julie & Tim

I love my clients. Photography is the way I get to interact with such special people and make a difference in their lives and their family. More and more I have attracted couples that are loving, generous and really fun to be around. Julie and Tim are shining examples of that. From our first meeting together we developed a friendship and trust that has been so rewarding for me. It’s hard to call what I do work when I’m treated with such respect and love.

Here are a few of my favorite images from their wedding last Saturday in Philadelphia. Congratulations, Julie and Tim!!

Jill & Tom

Last month I had another great wedding at Blue Hill at Stone Barns. What a fabulous place! The amazing food they serve is all a product of the farm that the restaurant is a part of. The grounds are gorgeous and the service is first class. It’s an awesome spot for a wedding or a celebratory dinner. Make your reservations early, because this place books quickly.

Congratulations Jill and Tom! And thanks for such a beautiful day.

Narges & Josh

Last Friday Narges and Joshua got married at the Ritz Carlton downtown in Battery Park. There is certainly something extra special about the Ritz. They are attentive to your every desire. And they always deliver with a smile. I love that!!

It was a perfect evening.

The gorgeous floral design was created by Flowers of the World. The bouquets, the ceremony room and the reception were all impeccable!

Congratulations Narges and Joshua! What a fabulous wedding!

Daniela & Thomas

Daniela & Thomas’ wedding was last Sunday in Long Island. Although they actually married two years ago, the day was full of emotion and beauty. Here are a couple of my favorites:

Shelley and Eric

Shelley and Eric got married at the magnificent Blue Hill at Stone Barns a week ago Sunday. What a fantastic place. Gorgeous buildings and grounds, out of this world food, and 1st class service all around. What a delight.

And of course a first class place deserves a classy couple. Shelley and Eric were so much fun to be around. The care they showed for each other and all of their guests was so generous and thoughtful.

Shelley’s mom read from Walt Whitman’s “Song of the Open Road” at the ceremony. It’s one of my favorite poems and have never heard it read at a wedding before. So beautiful and so perfect to remember as they embark on this Open Road together:

“Afoot and light-hearted, I take to the open road,
Healthy, free, the world before me,
The long brown path before me, leading wherever I choose.
Henceforth I ask not good-fortune—I myself am good fortune;
Henceforth I whimper no more, postpone no more, need nothing,
Strong and content, I travel the open road.”

Julie and Jerry

This past Saturday in Ridgefield, CT, I photographed Julie and Jerry’s wedding. It poured on Saturday morning on my way up there and I was bummed about the weather. Then the sun came out and it turned out to be gorgeous!

Thanks, you guys. Julie and Jerry rock!!

Meghann & Andy

Two weeks ago our dear friends got married! My wife, Nel, was the Co-Maid of Honor and I got to take the photos. These two are so much fun to be around and created an entire weekend of activities for all of us to enjoy: a crab feed, golf tournament, and a full day of pampering for the bridesmaids. Here are a couple of my favorites from the wedding day.

How cool are these shoes?

Meghann dancing with my beautiful wife, Nel.

They had an old style photo booth and asked everyone to paste their photos in this book. SO MUCH fun! Great idea.

Heather, Mike and Lindsay

I don’t get to guest shoot too often anymore, but when I do, it’s so much fun. Lindsay Flanagan asked me to photograph Heather and Mike’s wedding with her a couple of weeks ago (and she’ll be coming to a wedding with me next weekend). Here are a couple images from their wedding near the New York Public Library.

Maria & Frank

When I photographed Maria and Frank’s engagement party last summer, I knew their wedding was going to be alot of fun. They are a super sweet couple with huge hearts, both of them. And the love they share is an inspiration for all of us.

Congratulations, Maria & Frank!

Anna & Jose

Just a few weeks ago Anna and Jose had their wedding in Manhattan. My friend Shira shot it with me. We met several years ago when we both had our first experiences with professional photography working for a school photography company. Here we are years later and we still get to have fun making photographs together.

The reception was at the Bryant Park Grill which was decorated so beautifully. Anna used to be a wedding planner so she knew exactly how she wanted things to look and it was perfect.
