Nicola & AJ – Central Park Proposal

AJ called me last week with an excitement in his voice. He was planning on surprising Nicola with a trip to NYC and another surprise, he was planning on popping the question.

I helped him pick a spot and planned the meeting time. I friended him on Facebook so I could see a few photos of the two of them. I wanted to be sure I had the right guy!

Come 1:30 on Saturday I was in my place at Cherry Hill and my heart was beating. Not sure if I was more nervous or excited. AJ walked by holding Nicola’s hand and discretely waved to me with the other. Now I was sure I had the right couple.

I followed the two of them to a quieter spot where AJ promptly got down on one knee.

Over the next hour we made some fun portraits of the newly engaged couple. None of us could stop smiling the whole time.

Congrats you guys! I’m so grateful to have been a part of such a special day.

Sarah & Steve – Engagement Brooklyn

Almost as much as I love photographing weddings, Engagement shoots are a close second. Sarah & Steve met me under the Manhattan Bridge a couple of Saturdays ago and we got to know each other a bit as we made some fun portraits. They didn’t waste time scheduling their E-Session with me, their wedding isn’t until next November! Only 12 months away, but they go quickly when you’re planning a wedding!
