Since the moment Gracie was born some 7 months ago, I’ve been waiting to make the portrait of Gracie, ant the three generations of women that came before her. Last week in Mississippi, I finally got to do it. Gracie’s Great Grandma Shelby was waiting for us all to arrive on Mother’s day. What a wonderful gift to the three moms: my wife, Nel, her mom, Becky, and Gracie’s Great Grandmother, Bette.

Dixie and Marc had a very special wedding right in the the heart of NYC’s, Grand Central Station at the Metrazur restaurant. The wedding was full of fun surprises like a Dixieland marching band and tuba player and even a guy in a bearsuit. A fun couple and a super fun wedding.
Can’t believe our daughter is already 7 months old. Now I understand all the parents who’ve told me how quickly time passes wth kids and how quickly the grow.
Gracie is almost 13 pounds now, a huge difference from being born 2 pounds 2 ounces. She’s getting big!!
