Meghann & Andy

Two weeks ago our dear friends got married! My wife, Nel, was the Co-Maid of Honor and I got to take the photos. These two are so much fun to be around and created an entire weekend of activities for all of us to enjoy: a crab feed, golf tournament, and a full day of pampering for the bridesmaids. Here are a couple of my favorites from the wedding day.

How cool are these shoes?

They had an old style photo booth and asked everyone to paste their photos in this book. SO MUCH fun! Great idea.

Heather, Mike and Lindsay

I don’t get to guest shoot too often anymore, but when I do, it’s so much fun. Lindsay Flanagan asked me to photograph Heather and Mike’s wedding with her a couple of weeks ago (and she’ll be coming to a wedding with me next weekend). Here are a couple images from their wedding near the New York Public Library.

Narges & Josh – Engagement

Just a couple of weeks away is Narges and Josh’s wedding at the Ritz Carlton Downtown. Can’t wait!

Here are a couple of shots from the engagement shoot we did a couple of weeks ago.

Maria & Frank

When I photographed Maria and Frank’s engagement party last summer, I knew their wedding was going to be alot of fun. They are a super sweet couple with huge hearts, both of them. And the love they share is an inspiration for all of us.

Congratulations, Maria & Frank!

Check out my NEW website!!

Many of you have already heard, last week I rolled out a brand new Threshold Visions website!

It’s full of lots of new stuff: all new photos, new video of me in action, new client testimonials and even a new toll-free phone number. I’m so excited to share it with you!

Please check it out and let me know what you think!

Ole! Flamenco!

All last week, from my office at Jacob’s Pillow, all I could hear was stomping, stomping, stomping coming from the Pillow school. From breakfast until midnight, nothing but rhythmic stomping and clapping. These students were serious and passionate about Flamenco! They couldn’t get enough.

Once I saw the performance they did on Saturday, I couldn’t get enough either. Fantastic! Ole!

My New Best Friend

Last week, after persistent prompting from a great friend of mine, I went out and bought myself the best camera on the market, the Nikon D3. It is AWESOME! The colors, the speed, and the general heft and power make the camera I was using before seem quite small. One of the biggest advantages of this super camera is it’s unbelievable sensibility in low light. I can now shoot at film speeds higher than ever before which gives me tremendous flexibility when shooting dance and in low light situations at weddings and events. WooHoo!

Here are a few of my favorite images from my first week with the D3:

A couple of fun ones from Maria and Frank’s wedding at Gurney’s Inn out in Montauk.

Jennifer & Hugh

Two weeks ago, Jennifer & Hugh were married at the gorgeous Brantwyn Mansion in Wilmington, Delaware. It was the longest day of the year, the weather was absolutely perfect and Brantwyn is a beautiful place. Couple that with the stunning Jennifer and Hugh who are so great together and so much fun to be around, it made for great photos.

My good friend Carlos Varela shot the wedding with me which makes for a great time, too.

Jacob’s Pillow Gallery Show

I’m so excited to be featured in a show of dance photography this summer in the historic Bakalar Studio at Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival. Several of my images from 2006 & 2007 are being featured along with Jacob’s Pillow resident photographer, Mike van Sleen.

Here’s a sampling. Come to the Pillow to see them all!
