Tom & Jordanna

A couple weeks ago Jordanna and Tom got married at City Hall. It was so fun to walk with them on the Brooklyn Bridge right afterwards and make pictures. The two of them are just so great to be around.

The next day they had a rockin’ party and we set up a photo studio to make portraits. How cool is that?!

Lauren & David

Last month I photographed Lauren and David’s beautiful wedding at the Tribecca Rooftop. It was a gorgeous day and an elegant wedding.

Lauren looked stunning in her dress.

We had a really great day together. I’m friends with their family, so it made me feel like I was a part of the family, too! Thanks Lauren and David for a terrific day.

Famoro – KAKANDE!

Occasionally I get to shoot something really fun and off beat like a group of awesome musicians. Last week I made photographs with Famoro Diobate’s group, Kakande.

Famoro and the guys in the group are friends of mine and actually played music at my wedding 2 years ago. Famoro is one of those incredibly gifted artists who has you completely enchanted as soon as he begins to play. You can tell by his amazing smile what a presence he is.

Working with people I love

I recently photographed Lauren & David’s wedding at the Tribeca Rooftop. Lauren and David live in NJ, but they found out about me through their family, my friends James & Sue, in Nederland, CO. We met and they booked me on the spot. I then referred them to my great friend, Jonathan Hefter. (You’ll recognize his friendly face.) Jonathan is a Wedding Celebrant and officiated their ceremony! Jonathan works with couples to create powerful, personal and meaningful ceremonies.

What fun it is to work with people you love!

Here’s Jonathan, James and I at David and Lauren’s wedding.

Not a single frame!

I had the great pleasure of being the Best Man at my friends Kathryn and Jonathan’s wedding this weekend. With all the details of the wedding coming together on Friday and Saturday, my camera never came out of the bag. What a joy it was to be on the other side of the lens! Our dear friend and amazing photographer Clay Enos took all the photos. Clay is so willing to do anything for the shot, he climbed up a street lamp and literally hung 15 feet in the air to get a picture of the entire gathering af 150 people! Thanks, Clay!

Here’s a shot I made of the two of them last year in Central Park.

Congratulations to Kathryn and Jonathan! Blessings to you both for many years of happiness and peace together. And thanks for a really fun weekend together.

I LOVE weddings!
