Stacey & Matt

This past January I photographed Stephanie & Adam’s wedding. It was fabulous and they were such a beautiful couple. Little did I know that both of Stephanie’s sisters were engaged! Last week I photographed Stacey’s wedding and next April will be Kim’s. I feel like part of the family!

It was a beautiful day except for a little bit of rain. But we were able to make lots of pictures outside and the light was very pretty.

Matt, an athlete and a coach, had all his football buddies standing up for him. What an all-star team!

Dena and Colby – my friends

Colby and Dena were married yesterday at their new home by our friends Mary and Jeffrey. The only witnesses were their children.

Lots and lots of friends and family joined later for a circle blessing and a great party. There were tons of kids running around having a great time swimming in the pool, jumping on the trampoline and guzzling sodas.

What a blessing just to see them so happy together. Life is good.

Helen & Philip – Central Park

What a joy it is to be a part of a wedding. I met Helen and Philip on Tuesday afternoon and moments later I was photographing one of the most beautiful and memorable moments of their lives.

They came with their boys from Liverpool, England and were joined by their two friends and their two beautiful daughters.

With a simple ceremony at the Ladies Pavilion lead by Reverend Mike, Helen and Philip have tied the knot and will spend the rest of their lives together. Simple and beautiful. I love it!

Heather, Matt, Shari and Josh

I had a great time a couple of weeks ago shooting Heather and Matt’s wedding with Shari and Josh Silk. Shari and Josh invited me to photograph the wedding with them.

Being a guest photographer at a wedding is great because you get to see the wedding from many different angles than when you are the primary photographer. And it’s great to see how other photographers you admire do their work. I always learn alot and really enjoy it.

Thanks, you guys, for inviting me along. Hope we can do it again soon!

Andrea and Jason

My good friend Carlos Varela and I photgraphed Andrea and Jason’s wedding last weekend in New Rochelle at the Surf Club. I met this cute couple when I photographed Heather and Ken’s wedding in 2005 (the Saturday before Nel and I got married!) Working with Carlos is fun because he’s a great artist and he always shares new things with me. And working with someone who you have such a good time with just makes all the photos that much better!!

Andrea and Jason had a beautiful ceremony right next to the beach. The Cantor sang so beautifully it gave us all goose bumps!

Thanks, Andrea and Jason, for a wonderful day! Congratulations!
