Howdy Y’All from the A Bar A

I had such a great time last week shooting pictures in Wyoming at the A Bar A guest ranch. It’s a HUGE ranch with thousands of acres, lots of horses, beautiful weather and people who were so much fun to be around.

Alot of activities revolve around the horses. The wranglers run the horses in and out to pastture every day. They call it the “jingle”.

When you think of the A Bar A you might think of the horses, but it’s the people that make it the magical place that it is. The guests and the staff all were so much fun to be around. But it’s Bob and Margie, who have been running the Ranch for years, who set the friendly and warm tone that make the A Bar A a place the guests return to year after year. Thanks Bob and Margie for a great week!

And baby makes three

My friends Diana and Jason are having a baby. We made some pictures on Sunday, then Nel and I interviewed them on video. It was a sweet time Sunday afternoon. They’ve prepared the baby’s room with a gorgeous crib. They shared with us lots of gifts they been given of toys and clothes and books. And how wonderful to see Jason’s excitment about the jogging stroller.

With all the beauty they are creating to bring this child into, I just enjoyed watching my friends so happy together. Life is good.

I love the summertime!

The summer brings lots of good things: green trees, walks in the park, Mr. Softie, and lots of weddings and photo opportunites for me! Here’s some of the pics I’ve made in the last two weeks:
