Jennifer & Eric Engagement

I am having too much fun!!! It’s so hard for me to call this work.

Jennifer and Eric met me up at my end of the Park yesterday and we spent time making some fun pictures. I’ve been doing engagement shoots almost everyday making up for our rainout on the 15th.

These guys were up for anything and quickly got into the swing of being in front of the camera. It’s always fun to try new things and to have a couple be willing to create something together.

Thanks Jennifer and Eric for your great energy and fun spirits.

Joy & Jerry Engagement

How much fun are engagement shoots? I’ve been doing lots lately and I’m having a great time. I’ve met lots of new couples, explored new parts of the city and have been spending time in the beautiful Spring weather. The Free Engagement Day Shoot has been so popular and brought out so many great couples, I think we’ll have to make this a Bi-Annual event! Stay tuned for details on that.

Jerry and Joy got caught in the gridlock of the President’s motorcade Tuesday. So we only had a few minutes to work together. But they jumped right in and let me do my thing. Thanks guys for being such good sports!!

Sarah & Michael Engagement

Wow!! What a beautiful weekend! The rain is finally over and now the Spring flowers are blooming! The Park was full of life and full of all of us New Yorkers!! What a great feeling to be out side.

Sarah, Michael and I finished the weekend with a Sunday evening engagement shoot.

Sarah and Michael had signed up for the Engagement Day and I was grateful they had time for rescheduling. We found some beautiful spots, had some fun and ended this gorgeous Spring weekend with some great pictures.

Spring has SPRUNG!!!

When I left for the weekend Friday the tree outside our window was filled with buds, but was still waiting for that magical moment that comes every year. When I got home Sunday after noon I was greeted by such a wonderful sight!! Overnight the buds had popped and filled our window and our living room the with GREEN of spring!

What a blessing! What a beauty! What joy spring brings to us all!

Engagement Photo Nor’easter

Who knew that when we planned for an Engagement Photo Day we’d get a huge rain storm!!

My appologies to all the excited couples who were ready for fun and pictures. But thanks to everyone for being so understanding. We will be sheduling times to make pictures of all of you in the next few weeks. Instead of having everyone come on one day, we’ll spread it out. So keep checking here for updates as we will post images of each couple as we go along.

I didn’t get far from home today, but did mangage to make a couple of pictures. Have a fun day staying inside!!

Jennifer & Mathew Engagement

Saturday Jennifer, Matthew and I met in Central Park for their engagement photos. The two of them are such a fun couple and totally cute together. Their wedding is in just a couple of weeks and I can’t wait.

We done lots of engagement shoots this Spring and we’ve got lots more ocming up. Ou First Annual Engagement Photo Day is coming this Sunday and we have lots of excited couples ready to have fun and make great pictures. Check back here next week to see how much fun we had!

Cheryl & Richard, Central Park

Yesterday was a perfect day for a Central Park wedding!!

Cheryl and Richard, from Leeds, England, got engaged on the Bow Bridge a few years ago and it was there wish to be married on the same spot!!

They were fortunate to bring their family with them and their two little boys, too! But the family and the boys went home today so the newlyweds can enjoy themselves together in New York City.

A Little R & R

My wife and I took a trip to California a couple of weeks ago. It was a trip we’d been wanting to take for some time now. We’ve got lots of friends in and around San Francisco. So we did the “Friends Tour”. It was so relaxing and fun to see friends we hadn’t seen in a while, have lots of great meals, and we did alot of walking!

There’s something that happens when friends are walking together: the interaction, the talking, something shifts. I love that.

Now we’re back and ready for the summer season! Lots of great photographs to make!

Thanks to all our friends we shared great times with!!

Kellie & Andrew Destination NYC!!

Last week I photographed the wedding of Kellie and Andrew. It was a mid-week, 1-hour, destination wedding.

Kellie and Andrew are from the UK. They came for a holiday here in NYC, planned their wedding and didn’t tell anyone at home!! When their friends and family saw these photos they were so SURPRISED!!

These weddings are so much fun because it’s usually just the couple, it’s a bit more relaxed and we get to do it on the Bow Bridge in Central Park!! How beautiful.
