Final Curtain

The 74th Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival season is finished! The final performance was Sunday afternoon and just hours later the campus is clean and practically emtpy. A place that all summer has been overflowing with patrons and artists and dance lovers now heads into wintertime hibernation. I shot more than 15,000 pictures here this summer and this was my very last one. See you next year for our 75th Anniversary celebration!!

Pillow Visitor

Nearly every morning we find the cans knocked over and bits of garbage strewen across the Pillow lawn. Three black bears have been visiting campus all summer. I’ve seen them in the shadows a few tiimes, but Saturday night I finally got a shot at one of them. One of my most exciting moments of the summer!!

Lisa & Eric

I had such a great time on Sunday photographing Lisa & Eric’s wedding. Lisa looked so beautiful and just smiled all day long. Her parents came all the way from Wyoming and as a gift to Lisa and Eric, they handmade the Chuppah! Lisa’s dad made the frame which converted into a bed and her mom made a quilt that was the fabric the covered the top. It was so personal and so beautiful. Congratulations Lisa & Eric!!

Thanks, Carlos!!

On Saturday, my friend Carlos Varela and I photographed Shauna and Larry’s wedding. We had perfect weather, Shauna and Larry were so full of life and love, and Carlos and I worked so well together. Everyone had a great time. Our styles compliment one another which was just great. Shauna and Larry got a lot of wonderful pictures. Here are a few of Carlos’. Thanks, Carlos. Let’s do it again!!

Meera & Tom

This was my first Indian wedding and what a great day it was!! Meera looked so beautiful and happy. Tom and his family fiercely and joyfully danced the Barat. And the rain held out until the ceremony was just about finished.

Thanks Meera and Tom for such a wonder-full day.
